April 30th, 2013 Broad Creek in Hilton Head, SC

We're anchored in Broad Creek at Hilton Head.  Tomorrow we"re moving over to the marina adjacent to where we are anchored.  We'll stay there about 5 or 6 days as bad weather passes through and our mail is delivered and I finish up a long list of maintenance and repairs.

April 29, 2013 Turner Creek, GA

Currently here at Turner Creek.  We're re-supplying from the nearby Publix.  We're only staying here one night as well before heading to Hilton Head tomorrow to stay at some as yet determined anchorage.  Currently enjoying some Georgia thunderstorms with two anchors out in a tidal creek.

Dont believe me when I say there are 8 foot tides huh? At high tide the ramp is straight and the docks, which are floating docks are way up on those support poles.  Dramatic isn't a worthy description.  

April 28, 2013 Walburg Creek, GA

Currently anchored in Walburg Creek, GA.   Staying here tonight and then heading 38 miles to Turner Creek which is still in Georgia.

April 27th, 2013 St. Simon's Island,GA

Currently:  Anchored off the Morningstar Marina located across from St. Simon's Island.


Staying here 1 night then heading further north to another anchorage about 30 miles north.

April 26th 2013. Cumberland Island,GA

Currently:  Anchored off of Cumberland Island which is near the St. Mary's inlet.  Trident submarines use this inlet to get to their base a few miles up the river.


Staying here 1 night then heading over to St. Simon's Island.

April 25th Fernandina Beach FL

Currently:  On Mooring Ball #11 at Fernandina Beach.

Staying here 1 night then heading over to Cumberland Island.

Currently:  Ortega Yacht Club in Jacksonville FL.  Slip #9 on A dock.

We are preparing to leave on either Monday 22nd or Tuesday 23rd for destinations north of Jacksonville.  Fernandina Beach is our first stop, then anchoring at Cumberland Island National Sea Shore which is a short distance north of Fernandina Beach.
